Thanks Fro.  I could see your point and I could also see where some of the new guys could get a little offended by your response even though Mark had asked the question.  I'm glad that you decided to just drop the subject as neither of you were getting anywhere and the fact is all of the old problems are in the past and in my opinion we should be welcoming the newbies with an open mind to going forward with the forum and not dwelling on the past.  Time for us to all move on together I think.

Good on Fro for saying what he feels. I happen to agree with him in a way. The reason I posted here and not MWSE was that I didn't like the general quality of the level of discussion on MWSE and I certainly couldn't cop the conga line and the true supporter rubbish that seemed to proliferate in that place. Just about every thread over there would end up is some slanging match and you could bet your last dollar that a thread entitled "wake up to yourselves" would appear within 24 hours of a loss instructing everyone who had never laced on a boot in the NRL to pull their heads in because they had no right to have an opinion. I posted here because I felt that this place offered a better "forum" experience and debate and opinions were encouraged not stifled. Admittedly I have very rarely visited the place in the last 2 years, so maybe it had improved somewhat, I don't know.

Now before WAMF or any other ex MWSE posters jump down my throat, that is not a personal attack on anyone in particular, as I said "in general" the MWSE environment really didn't float my boat.

I happy to welcome any new posters as long as they don't take themselves, or others on here, too seriously. However if Silvertails ends up descending into another MWSE type forum than I will be disappointed.

Yes, there was a lot of tension back then and I still remember when you came over to test the water here too Pete.  You were probably one of the first and you kept coming back too.

I also remember when Mark did as well and he felt that he was rubbed up a little the wrong way because someone smited him and said something that he didn't like.  He was pretty peeved about and was going to de-register from the site until a few of us welcomed him and told him not to take things to heart and that the Karma is only there for a bit of fun and most things said against someone here are said in jest.

Fro, Its not blind agreeance.  This is exactly what it was like in the Alternate Eagles days.

Personally I think everyone on here both old and new needs to get a Sense of Humour and stop taking things to heart.
