Gillette & Oates went well for Brisbane...Milford the usual flashes, but ordinary game all round.
Maybe only round 1 but Eels could be in for another looooong season.

No way dude; Milford is really coming along nicely for the Broncos. He has terrific game management and is a constant threat with the ball.

You're spot on about the Eels though...they didn't look that hungry to me.

He has also reached that point many of us arrive at....the theoretical knowledge that we can grow more hair on our face than on top of our head.

The pretty ordinary all round was my opinion of the game....
Personally a Milford fan & can tell you we only just missed signing him back at Canberra & I was filthy....that freakish talent that can do almost the impossible..... My fingers are crossed we get similar from Walker....in time , but that's a big ask.

Parra could probably make do without Foran. If Norman goes down for a stint though, they are done.

Remember too, Norman's contract is up, and if he outplays Foran, Parra will have to throw A LOT of money at him. You can't have one half on over a million and the other told to take 500K if he's now a better player.
