What I love there mate...that old classic commentator Frank Hyde called a last gasp Manly try vs Newtown....I was just a kid but he lost his voice as Davis ran away ...think it ended a draw of 11-11 or close to that...
Yep the 2 iron with ears not the best ever, but a damn Manly favourite and got it done!!

I loved Toovey as a kid. I remember my first day at a new high school. On the bus ride home I punched a kid after he worked out I went for Manly and he told me Geoff Toovey was a wanka. I’m still mates with this guy today and he often reminds me about it.
