Indeed. Footy players are encouraged to be aggressive and fearless to a point beyond the rational, certainly beyond self-preservation. Those are qualities we admire and applaud just as much as the athleticism and occasional artistry in the game. So little wonder that not all players can leave all that behind when they step off the paddock.
