YES - Blacktown Seaeagles a Strong side!

First Grader
The Blacktown Seaeagles have a strong team for this weekends trial VS Wyong....
Good to see Hastings back on the field, also the fleet footed young Kelly is there...both likely to get a crack in the top grade also - is it same venue??
Also Lane , Cullen and Shuster are on show.....and could well double up.
The side look formidable early and will finish up there if they can play injury free and most importantly, get a rocket up the NRL 17 who will know there are keen, eager players with potential, who will be waiting to step up and playing out of the skin to get an opportunity!!
The fact Jamil Hopoate is on the bench, suggests some serious quality in 2017....having a powerful team at this level only boosts hope for Manly, when as proven in recent seasons - depth can make, or break a season.

It would look stronger if Jono Wright and Brown were in it instead of Kelly and Hastings...

On the optimistic side ... there is no law saying that Schuster and Kelly can't play half a game in Reggies and half a game in firsts .....

edit. bugger again. @maxta beat me to it by 30 secs.

I hope so; however, I'd say Barrett has shown his cards and wants to trial the team that will go out in round one barring an injured player or two.

Having an actual Coach for the reserves will be interesting

How the daily commute across Sydney will affect the team is a big unknown

Do we have an NYC team based at Narra or are they out west too?

Gee that's a pretty fair Reggies side, be surprised if they don't have a good year.

I can't believe the transformation From last year. We now have a gun reggies side and a good first grade squad! Real competition for top grade spots is exactly what we need! I'm am looking forward to this season!

Interesting still no Liam knight in either roosters first grade or Wyong.

Ahead of the Wyong Roos trial against the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles at Central Coast Stadium this Saturday, head coach Rip Taylor has named the squad set to take to the field.

There are a few 2016 Under 20s sensations set to make their Wyong debut, while there are also familiar faces and new Roosters that look set to line-up for the first time.
