YART time

Maybe, but Brown brings an apple for Twenty each day at training. Remember, an apple a day keeps the newbies away.....
Some how I think that Twenty does not have an apple in his eyes he has the semifinals in his eyes and he will be looking at players who have the ability to get the team there

From what I have seen of Brown from last year covering for the backs and for the forwards and in the trials this year there is nothing to love about his playing ability .
Brown is too slow for the backs too weak for the forwards .
Brown is just a body in a Manly jumper with a number on his back .
Brown is a passenger and we don't have any room for him in our Mighty Manly Machine that is going places this year. Brown is so predictable he is like watching snow falling slowly .

I'm right then your not a lover of brown

AND, he's the holder of the goat photos, so he's in, automatically!
Is this the Brown goat photo you are talking about feathered friend ?

By the way I don't disagree with you , I think we have more options than Brown this year, and I'm thinking that Hastings might well be " the man " but as he's still out for a bit I feel " the goat" ( and that's not the Greatest of all time" on this occasion ) will probably be the utility for round 1.

March twenty team will be. I don't agre with it but then I don't coach league teams in the NRL

Probably very very close to it!!

01. Tom Trbojevic
02. Jorge Taufua
03. Brian Kelly
04. Dylan Walker
05. Akuila Uate
06. Blake Green
07. Daly Cherry-Evans (c)
08. Addin Fanua-Blake
09. Jackson Hastings (goal kicker)
10. Brenton Lawrence
11. Marty Taupau
12. Curtis Sironen
13. Jake Trbojevic (vc)

14. Cameron Cullen (utility)
15. Lloyd Perrett
16. Nate Myles
17. Shaun Lane

Api Koroisou, Lewis Brown, Frank Wintertstein, Matthew Wright, Jonathan Wright, Jarrad Kennedy, Pita Godinet, Joey Lussick, Brad Parker, Peter Schuster & Tom Wright to all start in Blacktown for now.

When Darcy returns, one of Perrett, Lane or Myles drop off the bench, Darcy starts and Lawrence goes back to the bench.
Really hope Baz goes with the exact side you named. Can't see him leaving Api out but he should IMO. Would also have Kennedy over Lane. Happy to be proven wrong but I just can't see Lane being great in '17...

And for that very reason he'll go with Api, but gee I'd like to see maybe Cullen or Hastings (or both in different weeks) get a run as I think they offer more than Api.
Cullen looks like a real solid 1st grader to me. Could be a great little hooker over time. Hastings most likely will be utility/Green's replacement long term.

The problem you have with disagreeing with me young Harry, is that you are automatically, by definition, wrong. (smiley face)

As a fellow poster said the other day, Kapow is a power player, not an endurance 80min player. Although in the paper today was an article on his coach that said he has changed his training, dropped some weight and was working more on condition. I don't know if this is trying to make a Porsche out of a Mack truck, but it will be interesting to observe.
Yep that was me.. I personally think Kapow is more suited to the tough stuff in the middle of the field. Him and Lussick would be a great starting prop rotation with AFB and Lawrence coming in for them at some stage.

Maybe we should do a YART of regular posters who have not joined the tipping comp?

11/10 buddy

Great work.....if I wasn't going bush in 6 weeks time , for about a month I'd be in ( even though I'd be ****ing hopeless at it).

The other option everyone is to become a Premium Member!!

I'm one.......are you????

1. Koula - needs more space
2. Garrick , needs less space (in defence)
3. Turbo - it is time
4. Lehi - one of the standouts of 2024
5. Saab - for now...
6. Brooks
7. Chez
8. Paseka
9. Frog (not convinced Simpkins offers enough to push him out)
10. Jake - it is time
11. Guac
12. Bateman - really warming to this idea
13. Burbo - very (overly?) hopeful that he will furnish more over the off-season and be a force at lock next year
14. Talau - i know he deserves a starting spot but he offers great versatility off the bench
15. Aloiai - he is signed so use him I guess...
16. BFB
17. Bullemore - starting to show signs he may get to where I thought he would be already... best performances have been pff the bench though

Doing this YART convinced me even more that we need a bloke like Bateman (at his best) as our forwards are very light on - he would add a lot with his defence and ball playing...

Navale, Sips, Faulalo and Waddell are probs the next men up, unless I have forgotten anyone...

Tevaga.
And hopefully he's not our sole new first grade recruit.
Yep, totally forgot we signed him SER8...

I reckon I would stick with my current YART though with Jazz coming onto the bench and bullemore into 2nd row if we do not sign Bateman... I could start Tevaga over garlic sauce but maybe Josh can get his knee(s?) right over the off-season and show his real form... imagine he has 1st shot anyways...

Going to be interesting to see how Seibs plays it...

Swap Lehi & Koula.

Maybe with a bit of imagination here, probably not too realistic re Navale, Hoppa and Laiafi at this point in time.

1. Turbo
2. Saab
3. Koula
4. Hopoate
5. Garrick
6. Brooks
7. DCE

8. Paseka
9. Croker / Simpkin. Whichever of the two is playing better at the time. They are about the same quality, honestly.
10. Jake Trbojevic
11. Haumole
12. Bullemor - He's not the same player he was under Des. Played well when he filled in this year. Ben was never able to take advantage of Brooks' short passing game, but with Bullemor's speed and power, he would be awesome next to Brooks. I'd take him over the aging cultural cancer Bateman. Bullemor is only going to improve. Bateman will only decline at his age.
13. Caleb Navale - would unlock shifts to the edge through his ability to nullify opposition line speed, and damaging runs.

Bench:

14. GCKT without that annoying pause before passing. Should be priority no.1 for Ennis.
15. Laiafi - vs Junior Kumuls he looked like Olakau'atu 2.0 in the middle. With some fitness and tackling practice he would be devastating.
16. BFB
17. Tevaga / Aloiai / Sipley, whoever is the least injured.

Bully is a middle not an edge , plays well in the middle role , we still need another edge

Our current options are Burbo and Navale. Not sure if Tevaga is an edge. Then possible converted players could include Arthur and TTII. Nothing really to get excite about, and unless we bulk up our forwards 2025 will be a repeat of this season: close-ish but never really a chance of competing with the top three clubs.
