Would like to see

Last pre season we saw the bootcamp a dozen players did . Mostly new recruits and hopefuls. Would like to see the whole team do it this off season.

My opinion is we are prone to short cuts and we need to rid ourselves of that mentality

We need more from our big 3 . While they all tried, they all had some real concentration lapses that cost us and set our bar of acceptance too low

The speedy game is killing Jake. Needs a sprint coach or mindset fast
Tom is injured, isolated, and overburdened
DCE lack of real running game blunts one side of the field and makes us very predictable

Some of the clunker drop balls each had were far too frequent for top liners so there is something not quite where it should be

Se are such an out the back team

tom seems to have conceded somewhat in defence, jakes copy book allows speedy play the balls and DCE in on another planet defensively

So flog em I say, flog em all in terms of train them hard. We look a bit soft.

It’s sad seeing Jake struggle so much but he’s a product of the old game not the new one.

Manly 's endurance level at least in the initial part of the season seemed quite good .
Then seemed to have some issues as the season progressed with defensive adjustments when some opposition and well drilled sides moved the ball around a bit more frequently and faster tempo .
Forwards like Alioai , Lodge [ when he was available latter ', Brown and to a lesser extent jake , just could not adjust to the quicker or more varied opposition attack .
Not sure any pre season preparation in whatever form is going to make much difference , more trying to get a bit more line speed and defensive awareness on a consistent basis and a couple of pack additions that are capable of measuring up better with the requirements

Maybe again, going with a prop rotation of Paseka, Jake , Bully and either Sipley or Tevaga could help matters .
Burbo some prospect of going to a better level on an edge , Brown or Alioai maybe able to offer something worthwhile but would still have some doubts on a consistent basis .
Navale or that new Cows signing may even offer something positive .
Could be on the wrong track again but still would like to see Talau maybe to be considered as a future 13 prospect
