Wooden Spoon

I am interested to see if we pick up anyone before June 30. Our forward stocks are shocking now, but we might be able to grab someone half decent.
I think we will, Schoupp is getting offered to other clubs to open a spot. There is definitely some talent stuck behind the top packs this year, hopefully someone like Trey Mooney around that 22-23 years old age will be the targets. Knowing you are going to be in the top 17 instead of Reggie’s would be a big draw card for these kind of guys

The wooden spoonbowl of 2025 will be a fierce battle between Parramatta & Newcastle
I've just done the ladder predictor, @TJ55 and I have the battle being between Gold Coast and Newcastle with GC finishing last on for and against. Unfortunately I have your dirty 'dogs finishing as minor premiers...

Not a bad prediction, i will be very interested to see if Des can steer the ship with the Titans. As for the Dogs I try not to get too invested and optimistic but my 2004 premiers frame in my man cave is getting tiring to look at!!

As much as we deserve it ( currently ) you can just see the team pulling a few surprises out of the box , beating a top team at home.

It’s happened so many times in the past.

We probably only need 2-3 wins and we’d be safe

Isnt this season wild.

We are two points from 6th and 2 points from 17th.

Going to be an interesting second half of the year on many fronts.

Have a look at our run home after from here..... bye then Tigers and Rabbits. Then the next bye and look out.....Storm, Bulldogs, Roosters, Raiders, Tigers, Dolphins, Dragons and Warriors. Based on the last few weeks performances, can u see any wins???
The frustrating part?

I am sure we will jag a win or two against the teams above us because that is who we are as a team

We’ve had one good win all year I reckon and that was vs Penrith. Most other games the other team has been pretty poor and we’ve done enough to beat them.
And Broncos game, 11 years since they played at Brookie, and we didn't give them a chance.

On current estimates, it looks like whoever gets the spoon will end up with 7 or 8 wins. Tonight's result, and presumably at least one more win this season, will put us beyond any likely chance of a spoon.

The thirty minutes I was able to see tonight were insanely bad. I don't think this is the return to form we were looking for... DCE is still playing terribly. It'll be a poor season, but not horrendous.

Yep even after watching tonight we are in for a very poor end to season maybe a few wins but we won't win the spoon finish 13th 14th ish
