Will Croker be back?

Underestimated IMO this bloke. Reads the play, can hold up opposition over the line, always on a loose ball, constantly backing up on a break through the middle. Absolute competitor / workhorse.

To be honest,I think the team has looked better with Simpkin at dummy half than Croker.Obviously tonight is the biggest test the team has faced since he arrived but the only loss they’ve had since he took over was against Souths and the team was severely under strength.Simpkin needs to be playing the majority of the minutes and Croker wouldn’t provide the impact GCKT can off the bench.GCKT still has his flaws but those aren’t all that difficult to fix with a bit of experience

It's his ability.

I havent seen anyone better than him in the 9, as well as they have played.

Seibold likes the fact Croker is tough and a competitor, hard to argue.
He also praised Gordie for adding impact from the bench, and for his improvement.
Simpkin may have lost a bit of ground tonight in the hooking stakes.

We have looked better in the past 6 weeks or so... but I can't tell whether that was caused by Simpkin playing at hooker, or has just correlated to him playing there. There's not much difference in the way they play apart from Croker occasionally kicking.

IF, and that's if Froggy does come back ... first I'll gladly admit to being wrong, I didn't think he would TBH. And Second ... I'd seriously consider either playing him in the 14 as the backup to Simpkin, or I'd move Jake permanently to the front row and play Croker as a ball playing lock.

Simpkin is a much better passer from dummy half. Croker is the better kicker, but I'd also give what little running game there is to Simpkin.

I'm not Seibold though (TBH I'd only be him for his salary.....). Guaranteed that soon enough Froggy will be in the 9 and Simpkin the 14 with Gordon back to being the Workers hooker.
