Will Croker be back?

The longer this goes the more unlikely it will become , I fear we may see the news “ medical retirement “ sooner rather than later.

We certainly miss his defence in the middle, but young Simpkin certainly has a better , faster , crisper pass.
The team is a rabble in the middle, Croker is such an effective defender he will often make a tackle and I think it's Jake until I see the nine on his back.

I fear with the Bulldogs resurgence defence is gonna be based on this Penrith walk back through the ruck stuff blueprint

But, but, but.......Croker is too slow, Croker is not a real dummy half, Croker wouldn't make other teams top 17. Sometimes you don't know what you've got until its gone! AND sure his service out of dummy half isn't flash but we sure miss his defence (and you don't truly understand how good it is unless you watch him live).

I think he'd make an ok 13. I'd prefer to keep Simpkin in the 9. His passing and creativity is superior to Croker's.

Froggy is such a bloody champion. You know what we need at Man. We need more Frogs.

And what better time to go and take a Knight frog.

Off contract at the end of the year.

Only the chickens can have 30 super stars.

He goes better than alright.
He is starting to develop nicely. I'd have him at Manly!

SEA EAGLE CLOSE TO FLIGHT AGAIN

There is some good news for Manly hooker Lachlan Croker who has returned to training after a career threatening concussion/neck problem.

Croker hasn’t played since round one and there were genuine fears he may not return to the field.

However, he has taken positive steps in recent weeks including returning to full training last week.

Croker is now eyeing a return in the coming weeks. He has been such an important part of Manly’s side in recent years with the 27-year-old a notable absentee from the Sea Eagles line-up.

Great news. Was it round one he got injured? I thought much later than that.

CROKER ON THE MEND

Lachlan Croker will make his long awaited return to rugby league this weekend having brushed off fears his career was in doubt.

The Sea Eagles hooker will feature in Manly’s NSW Cup team having overcome neck/concussion concerns which at one point cast question marks if he would be able to get back on the field.

Croker has not played since round nine after picking up the injury. He made his way slowly back onto the training paddock in recent weeks.

Manly’s feederside Blacktown take on the Roosters on Saturday. Croker will play alongside former Test prop Aaron Woods who is also making his comeback from injury

He'll be doing plenty of tackling, judging by the limp effort in defence by the laughingly called 'Workers' last match.
