There’s no doubt Max is loved by every fan , I think @Mrs D knows that already.
He’s an absolute hero to the masses but I know what she means , sadly he’s not a hero to the current owners / management but I hope one day bridges can be built.

Mrs D . You and Max mean everything . Max has has stamped his name in the Manly clubs history books as he has poured his heart and money into our club when the club needed life support .
Max will always be recognised in our clubs history books and his passion for our club and spirit will live for ever. No one can ever change that and Max does not have to prove anything to any one as we all know what a Great man he has been and still is for the Manly Sea eagles
I have met Max and I found him to be an amazing character and warm person . I have also met Mr Penn and he also seemed like a good guy as well and It really breaks my heart to see both men love our club the Manly Sea eagles but dislike each other
Unfortunately in life , cubs, families etc, we all do not get on but for the sake of our club we should put our club first as the truth is NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN OUR CLUB
Another truth is a humble person is a Greater person than one that is bitter as bitterness is the cause of all destruction including clubs .
No one in this world has ever pleased every one. Some people will like us and some wont . That is human nature , that is life
HUMILITY IS BEING ABLE TO ACCEPT CRITICISMS AS GRACIOUSLY AS WE ACCEPT COMPLIMENTS
Clubs Shareholders , sponsors and club members are a clubs life support and our club relies on them in surviving and remaining Great
It is Paramount that all Manly fans put the club first where it belongs as this is the only way our club will remain great where it belongs
One final thing and the most important thing and we should all comprehend .....
By becoming a member of our club we are not endorsing any single person accept our Great club the Manly Sea eagles
Any one who truly care about our club should put their priorities in order and encourage their fellow Manly Sea eagles loving fans to become a member and help lift our club off the bottom of the NRL club membership table and not let bitterness and pride get in the way of making our club great again as NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN OUR CLUB .

I have up dated the bottom 5 club membership numbers from the NRL club membership ladder and it is very disappointing to see our club is the least loved by us Manly people as we have given our club a wooden spoon effort support in numbers
When we are down in the NRL comp facing the wooden spoon us Manly fans all have a go at the players , coaches and administrators . Fair call .!
When we are last on the NRL club membership ladder us Manly people should look at our selves in the mirror because this result is a reflection of our attitude in supporting our club . Another Fair call !
LOOK AT CLUBS LIKE THE EELS . THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY PREMIERSHIP WINNING SUCCESS FOR OVER 50 YEARS AND YET THEIR FANS ARE TWICE AS MUCH MORE PASSIONATE AND SUPPORTIVE OF THEIR CLUB THAN US MANLY SUPPORTERS

The fans know and appreciate what the Delmege family did. It will never be forgotten.
We can only saves us from our selves and our attitude to our great club . Our great club deserves better .
Fans represent this NRL membership ladder and us Manly fans should hang our heads in shame for embarrassing our club
Max has nothing to prove to anyone and who ever does not acknowledge what he did for our club is being arrogant and living in denial .
Max will always have a place in Manly peoples hearts and in our proud History and no one can or will take that away from him ,Ever !!!
The iconic Max Delmege Sea eagles proudly recorded the greatest and biggest Grand final win in the history of our club and in also in the game
That says it all !!!
