I reckon A Johns coz I'm still having therapy for the 97 loss. Under the sort of pressure mentioned, he saw the opportunity and the rest is ........ misery. And Turbo of our current squad. He can break a tackle and give a pass.
I thought of Johns, then dry reached into my bin! No amount of therapy will help push that moment into a locked subconscious head box, never to be opened.

1. Cliff Lyons - the greatest ball player the game has ever seen by a long way. Even today at 50 I would put him on with 3 minutes to go for this situation.

2. Haumole Ola'kauatu - probably currently our most damaging runner and most likely to bust a tackle make a break create a try with an off load.

I’m disgusted in myself for saying it but if there’s two minutes to go and you’re attacking the line.

Cam Smith

The greatest game manager that’s existed , to date.
I think Cooper cronk may have been a contributing factor to Scam's aura as he showed in that Rorters GF

Whilst we patiently await the inaugural team list Tuesday from our born again leader ... I thought an old fashioned footy debate will help pass the time ..

My son .. who got it from some podcast ... posed the following question to me ..

There is one minute to go on the clock ... you are down by 3 points, a try is needed. You get a turnover 40m out and 6 tackles to win the game. Who is the one player you want in your team ....

For further controversy ... 2 answers are req'd ...

1) Any player from any era from any club ...

2) Which player in our current squad must get his hands on the ball ...

My answers are .. 1) Alfie Langer 2) DCE
(1) Wally Lewis
(2) Koula
