I voted Snake only because at his best or even close to his best we know what he is capable of. And because we also have the luxury of playing Tom in the centres or on the wing.

However.....I really can't see Snake in a Manly jumper in 2017.

I don't think Snake will be playing anywhere in 2017...let alone with us. For many reasons both on and off field.

If by some chance he does make it to Rd1 - he has to play fullback cause even at his long distant best I doubt he would be that effective in any other spots. So we have no choice.

On merit I'd have Tom as fullback every day of the week if it's a 1 on 1 choice. But it's not, Tom could be effective elsewhere.

All academic though...either the wheels turn the way I expect and Snake is cut adrift/cuts himself adrift and its not an issue.....or the unexpected happens and he does line up and it's 2016 all over again.
