Nope…. Lazarus played in 5 straight first grade finals and walked away with an amazing 4 NRL premiership rings from that stretch (then added another at Storm to make 5 all-up)… he also should have had another in 97 with broncs but was injured)…
My man has a much lower profile than the brick with eyes…

Having 'Bozo' in my life has been a blessing. He has been a fantastic and true friend, loyal, and always willing to give a hand. The world was a better place for having him in it and he will be sadly missed by not only myself but many, many people whose lives he has touched

"I first met Bob in the 1970s when we played Jersey Flegg for Manly. What an inspiration he was to me with the way he used to train. Coming out of the juniors, I had no idea really about how to train and the best way to do it, so I used to follow Bob. He was that far ahead in terms of training knowledge. He was a real athlete who worked on his speed and he would train every day. By training with Bob, it certainly helped me with my fitness. He would always ask me to come sprinting with him and we would head to the gym after a session to do weights. He just knew what to do. We became very good friends and I used to go pig hunting with him and we did it for many years. His great mate, Royce Ayliffe, used to join us. Bob also loved riding quad bikes and because he knew Kerry Packer well, he would often get us on the right properties to ride. Bob was a great friend and person

It was a wonderful team to be involved with and 'Bozo' never coached better than he did in 1987. It was a great reward for him.

On a personal note
All kid looks up to their Super Heroes and the Manly Premiership Winning Incomparable Immortal Bob Fulton to me was the real deal . His Super powers on the field were not from a comic book just like all the other made up Super Heroes . Bob Fulton was a self made Superstar empowered with natural God blessed ability and Great tenacity to Win with it
The Incomparable Immortal Bob Fulton is the Inspiration of why I love the Manly Sea eagles
and the Benchmark of our Legendary club success
I had the great pleasure to meet my Manly Super Hero at our sacred home ground
He actually stopped and talked with me . Life is remembered by Great moments and that was a Great moment I will always treasure
I will always love Bozo and I will always love the Manly Sea eagles

Mmm...Hynes was on the bench for the 2020 GF, but didn't take the field. Also, in 1994, two Bulldogs reserves didn't play in the GF. This is not the answer 🙂

It seems Mortimer didn't play in 5 GFs in 5 straight years
'Mortimer played 192 first grade games for Canterbury between 1978 and 1987. He was a member of the Canterbury Premiership winning teams in 1980, 1984 and 1985 and played in Canterbury's Grand Final losses in 1979 and 1986. Mortimer played for Penrith between 1988–90 and his final game for Penrith was in the 1990 GF'

I've looked at this a few different ways but can't get it. As 40 nil suggested while they may have been named they didn't necessarily play. Also, it says 5 first grade GF teams in 5 straight years...doesn't specifically mention NRL GF's...could have been Super League (Aus or Eng) included there or even bush footy I guess. It does say it resulted in 3 NRL premiership rings so the one thing we can go off is they won 3 NRL GF's in a 5 year stretch. Below are the players that have achieved 3 (or more) NRL premiership rings:
Darren Lockyer (1998, 2000, 2006)
Cooper Cronk (2007*,2009*,2012, 2017, 2018, 2019)
Allan Langer (1998)
Billy Slater (2007, 2009, 2012, 2017)
Greg Inglis (2007, 2009, 2014)
Gordon Tallis (1998, 2000)
Cameron Smith (2007*,2009*,2012, 2017, 2020)
* premiership revoked
So the only player to have won 3 NRL premiership rings in a 5 year period is Cronk (2017,2018,2019). He also played in the losing 2016 GF, so there's 4 straight. Now I'm pretty sure he wasn't named in either the Cowboys or Broncos 2015 GF teams, nor in the Storm or Panthers 2020 GF teams as he retired after the 2019 GF (unless the Storm named him in some weird honorary capacity, but I don't believe so). I also don't recall him going to Super League or bush footy.
I'm calling it @frank stokes, the feat was never achieved! (although I'm sure I've missed some loophole in the wording lol)
PS...my answer is Cooper Cronk, but I'm not sure how.
