I'm fine with the NSW cup line-up on paper. The only area that needs immediate improvement IMO are the wings.
The thing that strikes me about our team is how young they are compared to most other NSW cup teams. They are more or less our NYC team from 2009/2010 with a few other signing sprinkled in. For that reason & the fact that Willo is a first year coach, I'd be willing to give them a pass on this year.
Remember how average the NYC looked in 2008? Never would've thought that they would be minor premiers a year after serving up rubbish all season.
Oldfield, Whare, Davey, Ricardi, Higgins, Cunningham, Robinson & Harrison are all guys who figured into the NSW cup picture at the start of the year, because of the circumstances it's been rare that they have even had half of those blokes playing at one time though. It's really not as dire as it seems.
