I'm not debating she committed a crime, and it was a petty crime. Yes I agree she knew the laws etc etc and I have no sympathy for Schappelle or anyone else for that matter, all I am saying is that just because she got off and was smart enough to know how to doesnt make her a "cheap whore" as Byso put it.

once or twice....the difference is, in Australia it isnt a criminal offense to carry certain substances, and you will only gain a fine!
In indonesia its highly illegal. I see it as disrespectful to the nation you are visiting if you fly in the face of their laws and deserve the full weight of the law

[/quote] Wrong Dan. If you were busted tonight with a foil of grass it would result in a fine and it IS a criminal offence in NSW (not so in ACT and SA).
