What will turn Manly from a good side into a great side

We've had 11 games now and in every game the team has been in games for the most part.

A lot of promise to start with, huge home wins over Easts and Penrith gave us all plenty of hope for this season. The 3 defeats on the spin has derailed us and we are struggling to win key moments right now.

It tells me that this team to be a great team really needs to be more ruthless and close out games, last nights performance was undone by having a horror start which put us right behind the 8 ball. It is a bad habit that the team has these periods and gives up clumps of points making it so difficult to win a game.

The effort was there last night, I liked that, much better than the previous two weeks.

We outa be at least 7 wins for the season, wasted opportunities have cost us dearly and will make it hard to make the finals.

The next two games are now vital, Drizzle at home and then Riff away, we have to win at least one of them to stay in touch!

20 new players in a squad of 30 is what it will take for us to be a force again, however logistically that's not going to happen

Ponga goes down, Newcastle win 4 in a row without him.

Reece Walsh goes down, they beat Manly

Tabuai-Fidow goes down, Dolphins beat Manly with Turbo

Turbo goes down, Manly continue to lose.

What gives??
