I think what he means is that although we got thrashed during Origin last year, Des figured out how to play against them, and our recent games have shown that he's come up with a game plan that works.  Everyone's talking about our 'perfect' game earlier this year.

It's just like in 2008 the Storm beat us at Brookie, but everyone was feeling good after the loss as they said they figured out the Storm... which eventually led to the 40-0 GF.

At least that's what i think the message is?
