It's been downhill since we tried to copy and paste the Storm mould of the "big 3" we had Jake, Turbo and DCE on massive money and they just never really got close to the heights of a big 3. When we had that much salary cap in 3 players, we just can't compete, especially when 1 is never on the field, another is playing like a 300k player for the past 3 seasons and the our captain can't consistently perform when we need him most. I said in another post that 2027 will be the first time in 10 years we would have a full rounded squad including a strike 9 and some quality props.

He changes his footy side every few years , the last 4 years he’s been seen wearing a Panthers jersey.

Sent him a text after their loss the other night and said “ your team just lost 5 in a row “, his response , nah not my team Im back to being a Stormer now ( and sent me a photo of him in a Storm jersey ).

He’s constantly happy , never suffers the pain we do, he pretty much wins every GF.

what an inept disgrace of a display today after being flogged at home last week, No heart, no pride, no passion

We have a team full of duds that 90% of wouldn’t make park football

A captain that doesn’t want to be there and looks like he’s trying to not get injured before origin

A coach that has offered nothing and has not been an improvement on Barrett at all

we have done nothing since 2013

and don’t give me “but we were one game off a grand final”

we cannot and have not competed with top 4 side when it matters in 12 years

I hate this current team, hate this coach and hate the owners

we will not be even close to a premiership until we have a mass clean out and new owners , we are simply making up the numbers in the NRL

I’d actually say 2014. We were on track for the minor premiership that year until Matt Ballin got injured late in the season. Could have still been a chance at winning it all that year if we didn’t lose both Ballin and Buhrer when it mattered. Beat the Roosters 8-0 away from home early in the season and then again at home later on in the season when they were all over us.

2015 is when things really started getting farked up and yes, we haven’t looked close to winning a comp since then

I recall the Glenn Stewart and Foran contract sagas being a huge dent in morale in 2014. We fell off a cliff toward the back end of the year and have never really recovered. I know 2021 is often referenced but I actually think 2019 is the best we've looked since the dynasty ended. We could actually grind out wins and defend quality opposition. We were smashed by injuries when it mattered most and with some better refereeing and a fit squad, we'd have beaten Souths in the SF.

Seriously don't know what he has done wrong. We're in a much better financial position and salary cap position. No Fulton's, no Tartak, overall improvement.

The only place he has failed, he was unequivocally white-anted into resigning... Months before they even won the spoon. Seibold has not had any ability to change things here to his liking. Look at the long-term strategy he put into place at the Broncos, and what he did with a well-rounded roster in 2018. We have not had a good roster since he got here.

We have the exact same roster problems that undoubtedly partially led to Des getting sacked. He can't just kick Turbo, DCE, and Jake out of the club, like he did (and admittedly failed doing) at the Broncos. This basically covers what you have said in 4, 5, 6, and 7. We would have a spoon if we forced them out. Instead we have mediocrity.

Don't agree with this, Saab, Garrick and Hopoate are more than capable of holding their own. Koula is effective, with some potential. I might've misread this, so yes, wrong direction given our forward pack, but if we didn't have them, we would be conceding 30+ with edges of Harper and Parker every game.
