Realistically, the Roosters playing at 85% would beat our 90%.

Our 100% can beat anyone though.

We do have a little whiff about us that looks a little like the tigpies in 2005 or whatever. The team that played a little different, all out attack. And when we click. Gotta win ugly for a bit and get under the radar.

Its actually a really good question. In AFL parlance, our 'window' was theoretically 2021. Bring youngsters through, still have DCE at his best, Turbo's firing etc. All signs were that we were regenerating, building a solid base, getting experience etc. Fans and sponsors would all be happy with Top 8 this year, Top 4 next year, GF win in 2021.

If we performs a miracle and actually get to the GF or win it this year, there are a few things that go through my mind:
1. Its the best coaching performance since Fatty in the 96 Origin (was it 96?) Thats a joke btw.
2. We still have alot of improvement in the squad
3. Hunger would be key for the next few years.
4. It might make contract negotiations with the Turbo's either VERY easy (coz they love winning a premiership) or VERY hard (because they've achieved their dream here and are able to get more $$$ elsewhere as premiership/clive churchil winners)

So many unknowns.

All I DO know..... is that Many wins Premierships at least once every decade. So if we don't win this year, we WILL win in 20 or 21. I have no doubt.

Except Dessie left them 2 years ago ... you really need to let go of bringing barrett into every conversation ... you are becoming a one show pony ... and stupid ...

I haven’t posted anything much about Barrett for a good while. But I’ll try and work up a few new tricks for you @Woodsie... I’m presently road testing them on an old Scotsman from up the road and should have them ready to go by week one of the finals.
