If cherry was playing last Thursday against the rabbitohs we would've won and he would've been man of the match. No offence to api, he played alright, but if cherry was given that kind of advantage from our forwards he would've been laughing.
I know, I know, he's paid a million bucks, he should dominate teams without a solid forward pack, right? Well that's just not going to happen. Even Thurston didn't win **** until the cowboys sorted out their forwards. I think Moses Mbye typifies my opinion, this season he's had great games when the dogs are rolling, but when their pack is beaten (like against the eels and raiders) he's done absolutely nothing. When your forwards are being dominated the best you can hope for out of your half-back is for him to keep you in the game with his kicking which I feel cherry often has in the past.
