Definitely agree on the send off call. At what point in history did calling the ref a cheat cease being a send off?

No doubt Smith is a knob and shouldn't have said what he did. But we call the refs cheating bastards (and much worse) every week and nobody questions our judgment or our right to express it…

Same with Trent Robinson's comments. Yeah, it would have been nice if he'd faced the wrath of the NRL like Des had to, but does anyone doubt that he had a valid point and that Ben Cummins is a terrible referee?

Although it must be said that he wasn't complaining about him after the GF against the Raiders

Melb will prob claim that smith was going to get chosen for 3 origins and the nrl will agree to wipe three weeks off...leaving only a fine so he'll be free to play next game.

3 weeks is about right imo as the guy's too cocky for his own good...gets away with way too much. It's about time the Storm started suffering from suspensions and injuries like the rest of us (well, apart from the Riff).
