Pathers released George Jennings to Eels last month. Eels signed Will Smith from the Panthers today. Panthers won't be releasing any other young backs.

Procter signed with Titans today.

What signings besides Jonathan Wright are we to announce.

Yeap scans confirmed Mansour ruptured ACL.

Like @Blowfly said, that has no impact on their cap as Mansour will play (probably wont start the season).

You would think also they they are aware that clubs like manly are circling DWZ/Whare and would be succession planning anyway.

I don't think it's ever been a case of them releasing someone as they're over the cap. It's a case of they have surplus 1st grade quality outside backs, such as Whare, that aren't going to be happy playing reggies and would want to look elsewhere because of this.

Well we certainly need a really good centre to partner Walker since I believe Skivvys not gonna be there. I'm sure we are actively seeking someone and if Whare is physically ok we all know he's a real good kid and will do the job for us nicely. Throw in wing options of Uate Locke Tafua Parker etc and u also have excellent competition for the 2 wing spots with Turbo at the back. Things are slowly coming together fellas..we are building a formidable team slowly but surely.

Gus has confirmed that Matagi is already released - it's just a matter of who signs him. It will be interesting with the other two.

I hope we are still in the running for Matagi. Our pack is starting to take shape but I feel we still need some mongrel to take on the big boys and I don't see Sironen fulfilling that role.

Very probably bang on, be surprised to see them release DWZ but the fact they've signed on Tyrone Peachey means Whare is either battling for a FG spot or at worst stuck in NSW cup.

Although the injury to Mansour might have changed everything !!
