I doubt it. Have you thought of the pressure the Clubs (Titans & assume Eels) have put on their club and other players as well as the players they bought.
When ever you pay top $ it is difficult to get your return. For a starters you need your $300,000 a year players busting their guts to win. So come next contract the club may be only able to afford $275,000 a year for them. It wont take long for losses to occur and unless you have a team willing to work through the tough times internal troubles will start.
There is only ONE player that is in the current team that has come there as a star, Killer. All the rest are surplus to other clubs needs or developed at Manly. (go through the list and see for yourself).
So I say lets bunker down do the best we can. It may take a few years to rise to same level but so what. I hate the idea of trying to buy our way back and move away from the successful formula.
