I think we have enough on paper to be top 8....I mean who are the stars in titans pack tonight, maybe Gillard, fermir, yet they dominated
I would add a fit Paseka and also Aloiai would be in many teams top 17
Nowhere near say Storm, raiders, dogs, Sharks or Brisbane for stars......but MOST other teams we stack up against pretty well across the board
The forwards have been shocking, but I thought looked far crisper with Simpkin at hooker, most teams packs would look poor with Croker at 9, as he lacks the ability to bring his forwards over the advantage line, had no thrust to get out of dummy half and after hearing about needing him due to tackling ability, was terrible there tonight also
Swap for Harry Grant and the pack would suddenly look decent

Ohh, I thought it was a plea to some rich Saudi prince to buy out Penn and make the changes that would actually make a realistic difference in the context of NRL 2020s and beyond… it’s all just window dressing until then… shifting deck chairs on the Titanic.

agree there has to be a huge restructure of the team, don't know about the contractual situations of the various players you mention as it may be difficult to move them out??

This reminds me of Manchester United, a complete rebuild is needed for us too.

Turbo, jake, Saab, DCE, waddle, Crocker, bent, Jacob auther, Josh.a, jazz to start all ineffective too old or injury has finished them.

Garrick also is not worth what we pay him he's a winger and needs to play there on wingers money

WE are also playing 3 hookers in our team and have another few in the lower grades. none of them are effective, but yes Simpkin for me is the best of this bad bunch. Sharks hooker made 52 tackles on Thursday night and 125 metres. Even Cook made 66 metres and 43 tackles

So true - sad days as such a key position
I use Grant simply as an example of HOW big a difference is with a decisive dummy half who constantly builds momentum bringing forwards over the advantage line and making average middles look good, also a running threat - we have none of this
And Croker can make 80 tackles, he misses crucial tackles and they generally win quick play balls, this is why the opposition run at him all day
