Yet turn up soft, frazzled, confused and look strangers in defence....even the attack which was at least slick in games lost, is looking flat and the kicking game is in the horrendous bracket.
I recall opposition fans were envious of the Powerful, gutsy Manly team where players bled Matoon for their jerseys

Honestly, this is the most disappointing team I can remember in my time as a supporter. Even in the dark days after the Northern Eagles, when we had players like Gary Winter or Grant "The Squasher" Wooden in first grade, I didn’t feel as flat about the team as I do now.

The talent is there, but there’s no plan, no effort. The last time I remember any real spirit in the squad was the Sharks semi in 2019. Since then, we were at least flat-track bullies—but now, we’re not even that.

Has been that way for quite a while. Goes back to the 2021 season - just pass it to Tom. It all became too easy and infected the team mindset. They have zero appetite for the fight.

This season is officially done. We are only two games away from being bottom of the table, and potentially three months away from our first wooden spoon. The whole team has folded like a pack of cards since DCE's egocentric performance on Channel Nine. F*** him off now.
