We aren't at out best but honestly they 10 min period we were on their line they were hanging on and slowing the play down giving lenalty after penalty. If that was the opposite our player would have been binned for sure. They need a faultless 2nd half to overcome this

Adam Blair was doing it as soon as our second set of the match, and yet he was the one who later received the first penalty.

We are still in this but the injuries are a big concern.

I’m not going to win any friends here but this is a good game. The boys look like they thought they would win by just turning up and they are learning a hard lesson that will stand them well next year. The Warriors are playing entertaining football and Green is showing the form that carried us to the finals in 2017.

2nd some Sheck magic against the run of play
Try 3 - a good sweep try after defending 4 sets in their 22m
The way they have been allowed to hold on until warned about he bin...next tackle...holds on again - play on.
No real excuse against a team always going to be fired up after copping a cricket score last week.
Just as Manly had started winning that middle the sideways plays and poorly executed kicks are in vogue...hope the 2nd half is better

It’s not about been in the trenches together it’s expecting a certain level of play and attitude, we don’t need to win every game, but the attitude and application has been well short tonight.

I was honestly surprised at the re-shuffle after Parker went off. Paseka went on into the back row, Walker to centre and Siro to 5/8.

I thought the better way might have been Paseka to the back row, Thommo to centre and leave the rest as was.

Reality check we are still a little way away from competitiing with top 4 teams.
