Shouldn't be amazing, Simon - we've been doing it all season. But it is incredible how we keep finding new and inventive (not to mention comical) ways to gift teams points and possession. Up 10-nil, terrible Warriors kick, all we have to do is catch it for a seven-tackle restart, but we get in each other's way, gift them a try and in the blink of an eye concede three more.

And don't get me started on the defence…

I coached a u/12 team that defended better in the backs than our first grade side does. Embarrassing really.

I don't want to pile more blame on Cherry, but I swear his indecisiveness on that edge stuffs everything up for the centre and winger outside him. So many times he'll come forward only to stop and stand still. Does my head in.

You know what I liked about that? The fact that as soon as he got the ball, Miski only had eyes for the line. He didn't look inside to see who was coming, he just put his head down and went for it.
