We had some fabulous MWTS tours to NZ.
We used to inhabit an Irish pub down on the Viaduct called “ OHagens “ it’s gone now sadly but it was Manly central.
I organised some special guests to attend and mix & mingle , we had Mattie Ridge one night , Craig Inness another but the best one was Sir Graham Lowe, who came , stayed for most of the night & even sang Eagle Rock with the band.
I think I did 8 tours there , we’d often have two bus loads ( up to 100 people ).
The very last work thing I ever did was the trip to Auckland in 2013 , and I stood up and thanked all the fans for their support over the previous decade but announced I was retiring. When they all asked , I said Monday ( this would have been Friday or Saturday ).
We flew back to Brisbane Sunday , I went into the office for the handover on Monday & left on Wednesday for 5 months in my then brand new caravan.
There are many many funny stories I could tell but you know the drum “ what goes on tour stays on tour “

I just had a really good look at our draw and it's a bloody good one for us. Frankly with our roster and the cards we've been dealt if we don't make top 4 I'll consider the year a big failure. Gotta beat the vast majority of the mediocre teams and those lacking confidence like this mob. Fingers crossed we can put a few consecutive games together at a really high standard.
2/2 would be a great start, bring it on

CRONK’S VERDICT: Call me crazy, but I’m going to go the Warriors. Only because I like what they did in the pre-season, and they were disappointing in Vegas. If they’re to play finals they need to win their home games.

Faulalo has always Filled in Fantastic For us Feathered Friend
He was absolutely folded by the Roosters in his second game in first grade last year.
Trial form does not dictate NRL form. Especially when his opposition in that trial was reserve graders.
I think the whole team was ordinary against the Roosters that day .
In the other NRL games that Faulalo featured in he did the job with distinction
We all have or Favourites and Faulalo is one of mine feathered friend 🙂
Bit surprised about Talau, thought he was ready to go. All of a sudden our injured list is growing.
