Walker thoughts 2022?

so after seeing DW yesterday the first thing that stood out was how trim he was looking.

Is Des going to pull a fast one and put him back in the centers this year?

We have good depth in the forwards and are light on out wide. If I were picking the team he'd been in the centers provided his form was good regardless of where he is going in 2023.

I didnt see enough of the game the other night but am eager to see how he goes in our season proper.

Koula left center for some needed speed, parker right center for defense. Then we have saab on one side and koula on the other.

Walker played ok....and ran hard....but will be off the bench like 2021 and do a good job causing many headaches for opposition teams through that middle

Or has slimmed running his back side off training at hooker.

Good problem to have.

Good to have the option of playing Dylan in the centres again , looks sharp right now but was still showing some strong attack in the ruck area at the back end of last season for Manly . Still expect him to start in the 14 role but guess that reverting to the centres with some sharp attack there for the full 80 could have its appeal . Then again may be required for a 6 role if any issues with Foz "s availability . Harper can hopefully regain his impressive form from most of last season , Parker and the Koula push in the mix as well . Irrespective , just be good to have Walker firing in any role or position for Manly this season

In Parker and Harper, we have others who can play effectively at centre, but not sure we have anyone else who can play that dynamic role off the bench. In fact if Walker continues to improve in that role he could be back in Origin, I think he's potentially a better bench player than Connor Watson.
If Parker or Harper get hurt or screw up, give Koula a go but leave Walker doing what he's been doing.

Bullemore off the bench playing the exact role that Walker played last year would be something pretty special to see. I think many on here could be surprised how good Bullemore can ball play, if given the chance to do so. Coming through juniors he played a lot at centre and lock as well.
