I call tell you this much; Barrett hasn't told important people at the club that he is staying or going...the players do not know one way or another and neither do people in high places.

If it was garbage, you would think he would have told everyone so...he hasn't...but he hasn't said he is leaving either. I don't even think Baz knows. It reads like he is probably just coaching and waiting to see what his options are down the track.

He must be, at the very least, considering his options. That doesn't mean he will leave, it just means he is considering it. I never thought he would entertain the idea, but given he hasn't said otherwise and publicly states so, you have to guess that it's a possibility.

As for Daley, that seems far fetched to me...he just got sacked today and all of the sudden this comes out?!

I know Des is still very tight with Bozo and my money would be on Des returning to Manly if a job happened to come up and he got the arse from the Dogs (the Dogs have probably already made up their mind).

I know the players definitely 100% haven't been told that Baz is leaving so that's not why we've been underperforming...but...maybe the speculation is playing a part.

Word is that Castle offered Pay the job earlier this year and he started making plans to move back to sydney form Canberra

That may be the case, but...

Pay would not cut off his nose to spite his face...there are only so many coaching jobs and he'd take the opportunity if it popped up again, you can bet on that. However, the Dogs may see Baz as a step up from Pay...it's all speculation isn't it.

The vibe I am getting is that Baz will stay at Manly, but he is no fool and is probably making sure he gets the best deal for his family...he probably wants a certain amount of coin and a certain degree of control and he is going to bargain for what he thinks he is worth...he will not just fall into Manly's lap, put it that way.

De$ is Manly, but **** him, he ****ed us over big time and can go and coach Lebanon for all I care.

I've liked what Barrett has done , he's warmed into the role , another year or two and we are GF bound, he deserves to see it through.

Thank god I'm going Bush again next week , will only have my Sat dish , so will get updates and can watch games but very little internet, so if this all happens I won't be posting ****!

Because believe me if it does, and I have internet I'll be posting a lot of it!
