Ive been thinking about this and i think it has more to do with us being brittle in the middle so our line compresses and leaves our flanks exposed.

I've been a Manly supporter for more than 55 years. The 'performance' they put up in round 24 was one of the lowest I've witnessed.
When it comes to Manly I'm as passionate as anyone, so perhaps that 'performance' cut me more deeply than most.
