Turbo good to go

Anybody else thinking that Manly could be orchestrating an elaborate plan to pull of a massive deception ploy on the underperforming Doggies. What if Tom's injury is just a low grade one and that the Manly medicos have been sworn to silence. Love a good conspiracy story.
Sadly, not. Still wearing a "no contact" bib, and leg strapped as well.

Just seems short sightedness, to risk not only him going down after the first tackle, and be forced to play with 3 on the bench for the rest of the game and then if we do win, likely be in worse condition for arguabley stronger opposition in the next weeks game.
Then we have all seen how trepid he is returning from injury, though we do miss his barking from the back in defence.

I guess it all depends on how he actually is, things we don't know. A crystal ball would be handy.

Just me, I think I could handle a loss to the dogs as long as we played to the best we could without Turbo, than losing because turbo should not have played.
Hopefully I don't have to deal with a loss 🤣🤣
Mate if lose with or without Turbo it's season over and he has four months to recover.

If we are a a better chance of winning with him in the team (which I think we are - even the stuff Turbo does off the ball is very important for us), then we would be crazy to wrap him in cotton wool for a sudden death match.

Yes mate I agree with that and said as much in an earlier post the value he gives just in organising defence structure and distracting opposition in attack by him loitering out the back.

The question is the roll of the dice how long will he last on field and will he have any impact or will we be protecting him to much, will we lose because we actually picked him.
He looks shot to me even in the presser, putting on the brave face.
Then if we win will he be able to play week 2 ? When he would have had an extra week recovery and be even more important to plans.

Risk and reward, the answer will only come after Sunday. I hope he gets through the game, plays well and doesn't cost us the game.

Agree, and like a high stakes poker player, we're all in on Tom playing. We win and Tom gets through with minimal damage to the AC joint, he'll have another week of physio and hopefully, a further mending of the injury.

I wish he'd organise DCE and Garrick not to defend like a bowl of jelly out there.

He plays this Sunday, win this Sunday, rest him against the roosters, win that game to come in fresh for the GF qualifier. Simple effective plan, what could go wrong?
