Yep,he can’t stand down himself or he misses Manly’s next game.Pretty sure he wouldn’t be considered anyway given the form of Best and his performance in game 3 last year and special teams Burton is always a favourite of selectors/media.I suspect if Tom has a cracker tonight,all it’ll do is give the media something to talk about

Ponga stood down last year and wasn’t suspended from club games because of his injuries. I think Turbo would be fine also if he was to stand down.

I don't know Bob but that seems a bit harsh if you do. If comes through tonight's game but says I don't think I'm ready for Origin, would they make him stand down for the next Manly game? I don't know what the rule is.
