You asked me to explain my conspiracy theory, which I did. It’s a bit hard to find “sources” when the theory is that mainstream media has been politicised.
You are the one missing the point. The dishonesty doesn't come from referencing past material. To imply that's why people were shining a light on @47MVEagle is not accurate. He tried to slip in an article about Trump's actions when he wasn't the President as if the material was written during his second term. It was entirely underhanded and very obvious.I am sure you don't...

The point is that Trump takes unscripted press questions from a room full of journalists on a daily basis. I can forgive him some missteps on the basis these are far outweighed by the benefits of having a leader who speaks his mind transparently. Biden on the other hand hid from the press and only read words prepared by someone else from a teleprompter.
Quite short - someone saying let's turn down the temperature, not use inflammatory rhetoric such as calling people Nazis or fascists. Relates this to Kirk's murder.![]()

Gee counsellor thats a little beneath you resorting to name calling ??Looks like Brookie is angling for a guest spot on Fox and Friends. A true believer, Trump was right about everything, and all rational criticisms laughed off with slick insults and facile one-liners.
This clown has single-handedly ruined this thread as a place where people can try to talk about Trump and his effect on the world (and Australia)

Lol,get it right,it was not even the poster you are talking about FFS 😂You are the one missing the point. The dishonesty doesn't come from referencing past material. Said poster then attempted to spam the thread with other articles to conceal his motives. Frankly, it is pathetic that you feel the need to defend him. There is enough questionable material on Trump to encourage genuine debate. There is no need to be sly in order to strengthen that narrative unless a person is brainwashed or intellectually out of their depth.
There's more than one way to insult someone. I generally prefer to be upfront about it (as opposed, for example, to simply disrespecting another persons' point by ridiculing it/pretending you never saw it/deflection/diversion etcGee counsellor thats a little beneath you resorting to name calling ??
Surely we can keep the discussion robust yet reasonably polite.
I mean we are only doing this because we are all addicted to this forum and for Manly footy matters in the main yet some of us can't help being drawn into discussions like this, for better or worse!

Good point.

"In a Cabinet meeting last week, Trump repeated claims that autism rates are low in some groups, including the Amish community, because they don't take medications or get vaccinated."
""I think I can say that there are certain groups of people that don't take vaccines and don't take any pills, that have no autism," Trump said.
After Kennedy referenced the Amish, Trump continued, "The Amish. Yeah, virtually -- I heard none ... You have certain groups, the Amish as an example. They have essentially no autism."
Later, Trump repeated the claim, saying, "It doesn't exist with the Amish community, and they don't take all of this junk. It doesn't exist.""

Trump urges Israel's president to pardon Netanyahu
"Oct 13 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption, during an address to the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem."
"Netanyahu was indicted in 2019 in three cases, one of which includes receiving almost 700,000 shekels ($210,000) in gifts from businessmen, including champagne and cigars.
Israel's President holds a largely ceremonial role but he does have authority to pardon convicted criminal if there are unusual circumstances presented.
However, there has been no ruling in Netanyahu's long-running trial which began in 2020 and has been interrupted frequently during two years of war and Middle East upheaval. He has pleaded not guilty and denied any wrongdoing.
Trump in June called for Netanyahu's trial to be cancelled. Netanyahu has cast his legal ordeal as a left-wing witch-hunt aimed at toppling an elected right-wing leader."
Sound familiar?

Netanyahu corruption trial: What you need to know
CASE 4000
Prosecutors allege Netanyahu granted regulatory favours worth around 1.8 billion shekels (about $500 million) to Bezeq Telecom Israel (BEZQ.TA). In return, prosecutors say, he sought positive coverage of himself and his wife Sara on a news website controlled by the company's former chairman, Shaul Elovitch. In this case, Netanyahu has been charged with bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
CASE 1000
Netanyahu has been charged with fraud and breach of trust over allegations that he and his wife wrongfully received almost 700,000 shekels ($210,000) in gifts from Arnon Milchan, a Hollywood producer and an Israeli citizen, and Australian billionaire businessman James Packer. Prosecutors said gifts included champagne and cigars and that Netanyahu helped Milchan with his business interests. Packer and Milchan face no charges.
CASE 2000
Netanyahu allegedly negotiated a deal with Arnon Mozes, owner of Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, for better coverage in return for legislation to slow the growth of a rival newspaper. Netanyahu has been charged with fraud and breach of trust."

So are you really implying that Clinton, O'Bama and Biden made no business deals that resulted in them gaining wealth while they were Presidents? If so, you are even more I'll informed than I believed. What are you dribbling about?
How about some facts, which seem to be kryptonite to a lot of you.
I posted the 4 below quoted articles BEFORE I posted that one about the watches.
Response from Trump fans: zilch, zero, nada, tumbleweeds.
I then posted the watch article & it was immediately seized upon by the Trumpsters as some sort of “gotcha” moment because it was written after his first term & before his second term, & has been used in a transparent attempt to question the credibility of everything else I posted prior to & after that article.
My point was, & still is, that he is currently selling these watches (& lots of other stuff, including his crypto coin) whilst serving as US president when the US constitution forbids it i.e. it is illegal for him to do so.
Again, interesting that the Trumpers all focused on the date the article was written & not the content of the 4 articles I posted prior to it, nor the point that Trump is still selling these watches - that includes you.
So as I stated a couple of pages ago, there’s no point in entering genuine discussion with Trump supporters because they are intellectually dishonest & will never enter honest discussion, instead they will deflect, trivialise, “whatabout” & play dumb (although I’m not so sure there’s much playing actually going on there).
Good Lord, have you EVER seen such a classic example of WHATABOUTISM?So are you really implying that Clinton, O'Bama and Biden made no business deals that resulted in them gaining wealth while they were Presidents? If so, you are even more I'll informed than I believed.
Here's my reply. I think pretty much every US President in history has been dodgy, just as every future one will be. I think Trump might do some great things but also believe he has the potential to bring about destruction on a mass scale. I do like the fact he has flipped the script on all the woke, liberal cry babies who tried so hard to impeach, charge, denigrate and weaponise the media in an attempt to keep him out of the White House. It's funny watching Trump return serve with more power.Good Lord, have you EVER seen such a classic example of WHATABOUTISM?
Here’s some emojis for you, since you like them so much 😂😂😂
PS and still no response to any of the other 4 articles I posted. It’s almost like they simply don’t exist! Not even a “fake news!!!” 😂
I agree with your first 2 points but will add that no other president has been so obvious about it nor have they endorsed or advertised goods while serving. Here's my reply. But as for being a MAGA't or part of any other political group. I'm not your guy.
I don't think everyone who disagrees with Trump is a woke cry baby. That comment was directed towards the many people in America who behave in a way befitting of the label.I agree with your first 2 points but will add that no other president has been so obvious about it nor have they endorsed or advertised goods while serving.
I disagree with your 3rd point. Do you think Trump having records of black & female members of staff deleted from historical government archives is simply flipping the script on “woke, liberal cry babies”?
(I cringe typing that term out, despite doing so because I’m quoting you, it’s just so pathetic to label anyone who doesn’t approve of Trump as that).
Do you think it’s appropriate that Trump uses the power his position gives him to “return serve”?
EDIT: to add source evidence:
“Arlington National Cemetery has scrubbed from its website information and educational materials about the history of black and female service members.
Some of the content removed from the site was on veterans who had received the nation's highest military recognition, the Medal of Honor, according to military news site Task & Purpose.
The content removal is part of a larger effort by President Donald Trump to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices in the military and throughout the federal government.”

ok sure, well there is a lot of ignoring others POV in fact, in this thread in particular, its riddled with misinformation, disinformation and dare I say it Fake News,,,, there I said itThere's more than one way to insult someone. (PS ...and... 'counsellor'? I'm not American, and I'm not a lawyer (I work as a gardener)
47MVE what you have quoted is not the entire story there. While I'm not sure that it would be my first action point if I was in their position, Trump and Secretary of War wanted to remove DEI from the Military (not a bad thing). What they have done is remove the categories of African American or Hispanic, Female etc and instead included them in Prominent Military figures or Significant Science and Technolgy achievements etc , based on the contribution to their country versus highlighting their race, colour, creed or gender. So they haven't just been obliterated from the records just been categorized more along the lines of their achievementsI agree with your first 2 points but will add that no other president has been so obvious about it nor have they endorsed or advertised goods while serving.
