Thought Simpkins was very impressive tonight, he gets the 9 for mine. Gordie looked clunky, apart from the long run from a line break, his passing game needs more work tho, runs around in small circles when he should be passing it.

Seibs may well start with Jazz and bring on Simpkin,to me it is a sort of unnecessary use of an interchange for a dummy half,you sort of want to keep them(interchange)for later.
You may be right though and he then looks later to bring Jazz back on to rest Jake in the last 20....and it is part of the plan.
Interesting to see how it pans out.
For me I would rather see Simpkin look to play 80 and have Jazz as a middle/cover for 9.
I reckon that is how it would go if Croker was fit and maybe Seibs sticks to that,maybe he goes horses for courses,either way it is as clear as mud right now 😂.

Agreed Gordie doesn’t have the passing skills to be a starting NRL hooker & his “speed of thought” in option taking is too slow. I do love his all effort approach though.

Real positive with Taukeiaho going particularly well and with the uncertainty of Alioia concerning injury, form and even availability .
Simpkin very tidy and busy and that good turn of pace and deception for that try [ surprised me a bit ]
Navale showed some good touches and involvement , form certainly heading in the right direction . Liked the look of Patolo,, looks like a quite capable forward and probably can only get better with some more game time .
Chee Kam seemed to play some big minutes for whatever reason and guess thereabouts in general form.
Sips looks fit, hopefully can go O K .
Faulalo , quality player for sure , really good to have on the roster for whatever time .
Lehi did all the was expected of him , Willett certainly an interesting prospect .
Schoupp , good solid effort along with Ray Ray
