Win lose or draw... it is only a trial game... at Leichhardt... in the rain. We won the pre-season competition last year and it had zero consequences for the actual season. So best to just get through it without injuries.

The coach should be judged on the actual season, not on a trial game when someone else is in the chair anyway.

We actually came last in 2024 pre season. 2023 we won but all of them just point to same old same old.

We turned up for a game of touch football and got completely out enthused. No respect for the ball or the opposition, and paid the price.

A lot of our fringe first graders had a chance tonight to press their case and absolutely fluffed it. The only guys who had good games that I saw were Bullemor and Hoppa. Taukeiaho has done enough to take Brown's spot, though.

Willett looks the goods but only got one good pass all night.

I thought Bully was the pick of the forwards and his first stint was very good.

Hoppa was good, I thought the bigger body of Schoupp did better than Koula and Garrick at centre, looked more likely in breaking the line and had some starch in his contact.
