Trial Games

Players I'd love to get a glimpse of in trials - Patolo, Navale, Aitasi James (he's gotta show something!) and also backs Walsh and Willett.
Same. Particularly interested in Patolo. Quite impressive on some of the video shorts and big wraps from some of my Bulldogs friends but been hampered with injuries last two seasons. Fingers crossed for the guy but could solve a few issues in our forwards this year with a strong showing. With Aitasi James I have been disappointed. Big lump of a guy and Lots of promise when he came over from the Tigers last year but definitely needs to deliver much more on the field. Interesting to see what he's got in the trials this year

Don 't think that Patolo is eligible for i st grade until mid year or so unless his contract arrangement or status has changed .
Looks like some good wraps on him though and maybe only some injury issues that have held him back which he can ideally overcome .
Not real confident with James going that much better ,
Seems in a similar category with guys like Sykes and Diaz who have struggled a bit to get to a better or more consistent level , though Sykes always seems to have a good work ethic [ and Diaz gone . ]
Tevaga may bring a bit of vigor to the middle but also not a given and really need Alioia to play a more influential role as just depending on Tent , Bully , Jake[ for the most part at least ] and Sipley could be a challenge

AoA , for the money he’s on , has been disappointing.

He needs to step up , or be ****ed off by the end of the year.

Hopefully Alioi starts the season fit and injury free. Shoulder and leg injuries have been his curse over the last 3 seasons, no excuses now, it's either put up or shut up.
I don’t think I have seen him bandage free for a long time, particularly his right knee, he had it Mummy Wrapped all last season.

If it’s wrapped and strapped for game one it’s a huge concern on how he was resigned.

Interested in a few players tonight's trial Shark vs NZ
Young Jett Cleary who is 19 will get a go and as younger bro of Nathan, be good to see him stamp a home at the Warriors and has an opportunity starting tonight
Just another thing, find it ridiculous by the NRL to not allow Large on for some trial time.....previously have allowed other clubs to play their rookies at NRL level, so a trial which has a heap of NSW cup players would have been ideal.
Anyways the old saying of "1 rule for some and a different rule for others" is still a standout within the NRL hierarchy 🤬

This is what other clubs used to say When Arko Ruled the NRL feathered friend
There is one Rule for Manly and another Rule for the Rest
Bring Back Arko 🙂

That's when there was no salary cap, it's a Massive difference Bozo
The Arko days was a jealousy thing
The current situation stinks of double standards and certain teams making their own rules while the rest have to play by what the NRL set.
I do agree however, it's not a bad thing to take any advantage possible and personally I reckon if Manly could manag some of these areas better, I would say ago for it
It's on the NRL - Not the teams who benefit from these situations

I know what you are saying feathered friend and I agree with you
But the others did not see it that way .

As far as your double standards views go
I see it this way .
There will always be different standards
A standard for the Mediocre
and a Standards for the bright and brilliant Innovators who think out side the square and Screw the mediocre

Life has never been and will never be fair
Because there will never be an even playing fiend
We will aways have the Mediocre up against the Magnificent

I'm a bit against the grain here ... but I think Navale goes okay, and is willing, but don't see lot of star potential in him ... as for aitasi James, I see a bloke who will get to know every splinter on the Reggies reserves bench.
