Not too sure who actually was in the Manly squad for this hit out but do not like the or some of the reports of the Dragons getting the better of the contest .
Only a basic hit out of course but recall last season , Dragon coach Flanaghan being quite impressed with the Manly effort and rating their prospects good for the season and with Turbo doing particularly well .
Did not seem to be the case yesterday and maybe the Dragons having a pretty fair line up but if Seibs was being realistic with his assessment and again not sure of the general make up of the Manly side , looks like a lot of work to do to lift the tempo and performance level of the playing group

Probably just a case of a wooden spoon contender trying extra hard to try prove themselves while manly used the game as a way to get the cobwebs off

Reading too much into trial games is one thing but reading too much into some throw away comments about a scrimmage we didnt even see is a whole different level.

Plenty of natural ability
Some people are gifted but they still have to work hard to reap the benefits
