Trbojevic brothers

With due respect maybe he loves the club he grew up supporting and playing for us means more to him than a premiership? Not every great player wins a premiership and not every premiership winner is a great player.
Take Beaver for example I think no more or less of him as a footballer because he won premierships for us a great is a great.
Both Turbo and Jurbo grew up supporting Newcastle.

Any word on turbos availability?
His cheekbone would probably be ok come test time.
HE if you haven't already, I recommend you watch Turbo's enlightening interview on Monday night at the Blues Awards (link in Awards Night thread) when he talked about his surgery and recovery time :wait: I doubt much has changed in since then....

Opportunities should be more favorable for Ben this season . Would think however that he would have to play well in the trials or make as good an impression there as possible to get some consideration for i st grade or game day 17 inclusion when the opportunity permits during the season

Competition for spots will be fierce, and can only see Ben getting games through players losing form, injury or suspension.

Did I miss a story about Capewell??
Do tell!
Eagles4Life has linked it but yeah, you missed a story. Actually one of my favourite rugby league stories and player quotes of all time, up there with Mark Gasnier's classic "four toey humans ready to spurt juice" and Greg Bird's "I told the cops you did it. How do you feel about that?"

Condensed version: young, up and coming (ahem!) Ipswich Jet player Capewell does some "modelling" work which quickly turns into a gay porn shoot. He's asked to stick his junk through a hole in a partition (which accompanying images show he could have easily looked over or around) and is shocked - shocked, I tells ya! - to find a man's mouth on the other side.

When the story breaks he sends a text to his Panthers' teammates to explain: “Unknown to me but it turned out they put a bloke on the other side of the wall." On a gay porn shoot - who would have expected that?

Another rugby league cautionary tale.
