IS he going to win a game for us? I don't think so. If it was Ballin going to another club I'd be spewing, but Burns is like Witt with defence. He's great next to a skillful half but he really doesn't offer that much in attack. I'm not a fan of Lyon at 5/8 but I'd rather see him there than Burns. And if we're going to play Lyon there we really need a quality centre rather than a 5/8.

Reports say that Manly have offered him a decent contract, but if he demands to play 5/8th, and we can't gaurantee that, then it's up to him.

Yeah, mayer said in the article that Manly have made a competitive offer but that is not the issue with him re-signing.

To be completely unbiased he would be silly not to sign with the cows if the money is in the same ball park.

His defense has been great but every time he goes in a tackle I hold my breath. I have been a great supporter of his for two years but his attack isn't there for 5/8 and I won't be upset if he goes.
