Hope he’s back next week , Lehi to 1 TT2 to 5Is Talau still injured or due back this week?
Someone (I think in the media because the club is useless with injury updates), indicated a couple of weeks ago, that he had a hamstring tightness setback, that pulled him out of these last two games. He should be back this coming week.Is Talau still injured or due back this week?
Has he ever played five-eight?I hope TT2 is back. He was very impressive last season and I believe he could play five-eighth with Brooks at halfback when DCE leaves. That would allow us to put DCE's salary into a quality forward.
I think we can cover the loss of DCE with our current roster, but to win a comp a team need forwards that dominate, and our pack is not there yet.
He’s also looked good & has played great at Centre since the start of the season!I think we should all write to Rubes and tell him how good he looked on the wing yesterday.

Yeh, I was just throwing it out for some reactionsHe’s also looked good & has played great at Centre since the start of the season!
Yeah he had a game there for us from memory and went quite well.Has he ever played five-eight?
I know it’s a while ago….ok six years to be exact, but he did get picked for the Aus school boys team as 5/8. Burto was picked as half-back! I think he’d go well there. A bigger body. Won’t get trampled over by every second rower running at him.Yeah he had a game there for us from memory and went quite well.
Never knew that. Between him and Lehi as an option too we might be sorted afterall. Throw $$ at a hard nut forward. On that note never really paid too much attention until yesterday but Ofahengaue has a bit of mongrel in him. Could be worth a look.I know it’s a while ago….ok six years to be exact, but he did get picked for the Aus school boys team as 5/8. Burto was picked as half-back! I think he’d go well there. The big O was touted as the next big thing when he came into firsts. After a promising start he seemed to slowly decline before rediscovering his best form in recent games.Never knew that. I think they’ve offered him a 2 year deal, or he may have asked for a release. Or this may just be an attempted smear job.Has there been anything from the club on where TT2 is up to for 2025??
I’ll pay that oneI think they’ve offered him a 2 year deal, or he may have asked for a release. Or this may just be an attempted smear job.
There's no smear like a PapschmirI think they’ve offered him a 2 year deal, or he may have asked for a release. Or this may just be an attempted smear job.
Unfortunately the club chose to go a different way on the media front, out with the old/experienced/professional media manager and in with the ‘new’Remember when The Beard of Knowledge would give a weekly update on injuries? That was insightful.
This year, nothing.
Is there a reason why we've not heard anything about TT2? He is not listed as being injured anywhere I can find.
I have great faith in this player, and we could certainly use him this week.
The club has let us down on the injury update front this season.
I get that (yes unfortunately) but surely the 'new' has a voice. This lack of info is so frustrating.Unfortunately the club chose to go a different way on the media front, out with the old/experienced/professional media manager and in with the ‘new’
