For those who keep asking why it wasn't a penalty, here is your answer.Let's wait for a doctor doctor.
The ball had bounced so it wasn't a bomb.

Thought same when I first saw it.And so is ours. ACL. I thought a defending player couldn't be tackled in the air. Broncos off side all second half. Korisau needed to be rested ten before the half. Dumb coaching. But a team to be proud of.
Tom didn't have to leap for it. A mistake.Ok, then the NRL need to address the question: why is it suddenly less dangerous to tackle someone in midair because the ball has bounced?
The rule was brought in because slamming someone into the turf from midair is dangerous, right?
Mid air tackle but play on of course
Terrible second half full of mistakes and no structure
Use of bench was stupid as well
Bad coaching
Well how can anyone argue with this logic! My eyes and experience.
Tom didn't have to leap for it. A mistake.
I thought Baz did well.
Started poorly in the second half.
So threw in Taupau early. Then Brown and Hastings to up enthusiasm.
What else can he do.
i can't tell if you are being sarcastic?Well how can anyone argue with this logic!
That'll do me!
Making it all the worse, no reason they shouldn't be pinned for that because "it bounced". That avoids the whole point of the rule where you cannot tackle the player in the air.Let's wait for a doctor doctor.

But let's not forget the rule says fair game when the player in the air is an attacking player. Ambiguity reins with this rule. That's irrelevant though; it's either dangerous to tackle someone in mid-air, or it's not. The very last thing the NRL rule book needs is more ambiguous, grey area rules like "you can't do this, except if this random occurrence happens first, or the player's motivation for performing an action was incorrect, or the player you're performing the dangerous manoeuvre on happens to play for a non-favoured club..."
The guy jumping for the ball is either fair game, or he's not. Just like you can't stiff arm someone across the head because they fell or slipped into it - it's a safety issue, full stop.
I hope you are right!Well if your injury-spotting is anything like your sarcasm-spotting I think Tom will be right to play next weekend.
