From this morning's paper, looks as if Tom is busting his ar$e just to make it back in time for origin selection, yeah right , how about us?

Superstar Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic will make his long awaited comeback in round 19 against the Gold Coast Titans.
It gives him two matches to convince NSW Blues coach Brad Fittler that he will be fit to play State of Origin in October.

Trbojevic hasn’t played since tearing his hamstring against the Raiders in round six. Fittler is considering Zac Lomax and Kotoni Staggs as back-up centres.

Tom Trbojevic has two matches to prove his fitness to Blues coach Brad Fittler.

It's so hard isn't it? My head says players have a short (his shorter than most) playing window and Origin is the pinnacle and of course he should play. My heart says no ****ing way! We've had to put up with his ****ty hammies and ****ty pec all for over a million a year and just keep drowning in disappointment. Stay out of it you selfish, overpaid disappointment!

My preference is for Tom to go away during the off season and get this injury right as its killed us for the last 2 seasons.

NSW have plenty of options and even if he plays the 2 games before the season ends hes then got a 6 week wait before origin starts.
100%
Manly should force Tom to sit the rest of the season out. Absolutely zero to gain having him back for 2 games. His constant injury problems is a big worry and all efforts should be made to get him firing 2021..

Does anyone know if he's doing work with anyone from outside the club on his hammys? Has he located a world expert?
I just think the club is limited in helping with such a specialised problem and Tommy should be fronting up his own cash to get the best for himself.

I think it's all due to the rules of the COVID bubble set by the NRL. If it were normal circumstances, he probably would be getting help, but at the moment, not sure if it's allowed.

Strongly agree. Its a matter of prinicpal now. Were he to be injured in Origin, there goes another Manly season. Support all players getting the rep games, but he needs to turn up for Manly and make sure next year is a good one.
