One thing I do feel very very sorry for is the boys deserved to win a GF before their days were done.

It’s clear that isn’t going happen as I really can’t see us getting anywhere near a big one anytime soon.

There wouldn’t be two more deserving winners in our history than them.

Almost all of our greats have a Premiership.

For that I’m really sad.

Tom still has a chance. Jake maybe not so much, barring some miraculous improvements.

But they need to take their share of the blame for that. They are on huge contracts that make it hard to be competitive enough in the player market to build a balanced roster, and of late their form hasn't matched their pay packets.
