Sipley usually puts in 2 really good performances in a season, this needs to be one of them.Sipley like most of our forwards , uninspiring

I really don’t understand why they kept him the last time his contract came up.Sipley usually puts in 2 really good performances in a season, this needs to be one of them.
Maybe they keep him around for the culture thing or he's good to have with the kids coming through. Or the obvious, he's cheap.I really don’t understand why they kept him the last time his contract came up.
Regardless of how cheap he might be you’d be better with a kid with hunger & fire in their belly to succeed.
I’ve never been a Paseka fan either to be honest. Yeah he’s big , and occasionally fires but mostly he’s just soft.
I know what you mean - I support all our players but I start sounding like Steve Roach when Paseka has the ball “Geez I wish this bloke would take a look at himself in the mirror & realise how big he is!”I really don’t understand why they kept him the last time his contract came up.

Yes it’s not that I don’t support them , but I think the club could do better than Tof, maybe the jury is still out on Paseka.I know what you mean - I support all our players but I start sounding like Steve Roach when Paseka has the ball “Geez I wish this bloke would take a look at himself in the mirror & realise how big he is!”
120m + average last three years.I really don’t understand why they kept him the last time his contract came up.

Yeah I get he makes metres but never looks damaging120m + average last three years.
Embarrassing is the answer, a clueless shambles, replacing Sipley with Lodge is like trading your 69 Valiant for a 72 Fairlane and thinking you’ll win Bathurst in 1990. I guess some are just happy to enter the race without ever understanding what it takes to win, come on down Mr Penn and Co.All this means is come rd11,Lodge will likely have a contract and playing first grade. What has this club become
I said the same thing to my missus while watching the game yesterday. He is useless. Handy player for the opposition though. Especially through the middle third. It opens up like the Gulf of America whenever Sips enters the fray. It's the same every game.Sipley somehow looks like the most tired player out there immediately after running onto the field
Agree with a lot of what you say BD. RCG not so much from what I've seen from him at the Titans so far. Doesn't bend the line, mostly just plods sideways into the line. RCG's done well tho, nice little pre retirement deal on the sunny GC.As usual the management where asleep at the wheel this year with player movement in the front row ranks.
Sure we werent going to get Fisher Harris, but RCG and AFB were both available. Tigers got Terrell May for $650k per season.
The talk of Alex Twal would have been an upgrade on some of our players.
That said I am more than happy with Taukeiuho as our 3rd string prop behind Paseka and Aloia. We should be getting better results but injury has hurt us.
I feel Sipley is our 4th pick, so its harsh to be too critical. He offer more than Taupau at about one third of the price.

My dad had a valiant, but I think it was a 72. From Pernell bros Chrysler. Funny that, mine had the Fairlane, it was a 72 as well, probably why I chose the Fairlane and the year model, rusty piece of junk it was too…..My dad had a valiant, but I think it was a 72. From Pernell bros Chrysler. Just thought you’d like to know.
