If Tom hadn't scored 2 tries Ida thought he was having another rest before origin... The bloke hasn't been in his ingoal area once on all these Titans trys ..
Having said that, the NRL need to look at the way these refs are ruining the game... Titans get a 6again ATLEAST once EVERY set, if not more... We can't buy the things... Same for penalties... It can't continually be refereed so blatantly one sided

I’d be more concern if it was tackles missed for tries 5 kicks 5 tries they won’t all come off so this game will turn but it’s going to have to be no mistake 2 nd half

I would agree. But on those last 2 Titans tries we dropped the ball.
We have to stay calm and hold the ball. The game will come back to us.

This half started badly when we concede a soft penalty for an escort when Tom had it covered and apart from 3 minutes of Tom we are not at the races and conceding so many soft tries from kicks is frigging annoying!! Its been a weakness for too long.

Refs and Titans obviously set this up to be a speed feat, then Titans are 20 for 20 sets. Perfect half. Refs splashing then with set restarts and awarding penalties on top of that.

The grass is cut back to 3mm to add to the speed. Their right.

Manly make 4 errors in a row Lawton - Parker - Foran (ricochet) - Harper.

Bloody Hell. 8 - 24 and Manly look gassed.

I wonder if Manly attended the pre game briefing with the refs because they are getting owned here. They are playing like they are expecting a slow grind.

Can’t blame the refs much for that. They were getting six agains coz we arnt moving up quickly and they have momentum. Players are ball and player watching.

Can our captain step up and get us going? There is points in our team and Titans leak. He needs to run direct and engage the line to give space.

don't teams usually have some form of defence when a team continually put a little grubber through?

The issue is they are not just doing it on the last. It’s hard to defend when ur gassed and backpedaling.

I am typically a one eyed Manly fan, but Manly are deserving of what they are getting this game. No patience with the ball or respect for the opposition. They are moving up for 3 plays in def, then hanging off on key plays and no positional play behind to recover grubbers.
