Yep , I like Walker in the 14.Suli to wing ,Lawton to centre.Garrick got better every game in the FB, And has the last two months watching a master at FB.
But also understand Walker in FB as not disrupting team too much.
Still hoping Tom might be played this week though.

I think that Sui is being given EVERY opportunity to prove his worth mostly because of the Fainu, Olakuatu, connection and Des is doing a great job juggling it.

Young, Timoko and Smith-Shields will have a hard time containing our left edge, if Suli gets the room like Parker has recently he will be hard to contain for those three, the way Foran, Turbo and Schuster are putting their outside men into one on one positions with defenders, Suli could have a field day.

I agree keep it simple but still I would not want Walker at fullback I'd have Garrick at fullback Suli at centre leave Walker at 14 and bring up Funa or Tuipulotu for the wing position.

Can someone explain BOZO’s fascination with a backline player who before last weekend, scored 14 tries in 77 matches? That sort of strike rate is going to do wonders for us in the finals.

Hope Moses goes well but Parker slots straight back in when fit.

Exactly - some people have very short memories to accessorise with their tunnel vision.

I see this thread as a thinly-veiled swipe at Parker, rather than a genuine support of Suli.

Barely 3 posts in & Bozo's mentioning Parker - he can't seem to get his name out of his mouth & I suspect, rather than a genuine passion for Suli's ability, he instead has an irrational dislike for Parker.

I too hope Suli goes well, but I'm willing to wait & see how he goes over 80 minutes instead of 20 off the bench before hailing him as the next great thing. He's had the better part of 4 years to make his mark & hasn't yet.

I get it but Parker will come back straight into the team as soon as he is ready. His defence will be critical to us in the finals. Suli only has a shot at a bench spot in the finals, and only if he performs well against the Raiders. It's not hard to guess which edge the Raiders will be attacking most. Hint : It won't be Harper/Guac/Garrick

and it is not sitting down watching a Slow centre from the bench

Best thing about Parker and Harper is they take pride in making their wingers look good. They do it by running the lines that create space, good decision making in defence and knowing when to draw and pass or stay out of Tommy's way. Hopefully Moses has absorbed these traits via osmosis.

You once again mention expectations & standards yet are always very quick to put Parker down & pump Walker (& now Suli) up.

Given Parker has never allowed off field drama to impact his approach to playing footy & never appears to have lacked motivation in putting his best effort into doing so for our mighty club, it makes me wonder how you can use the words "standards" & "expectations" to describe your oft-repeated support for the 2 players Des has continually indicated he doesn't hold in as high esteem as he holds Parker?
