Yep and it starts this weekend as my wife and I head off tomorrow on three months holiday clogging up the roads in our 4WD and caravan.
This is the fourth year in a row we have been on an extended holiday (the last 3 years about 6-7 weeks each time) and during that time, on each and every occasion, we have had a gigantic string of wins, only losing a couple when I returned.
So I am figuring that it will happen again (or at least hope so).
I am not travelling as remotely as I have done in 2011/12 and 13 so at least on this trip should be able to view most games, at worst on delay given I'll be largely in South Australia , Northern Territory for the first 6 weeks or so and then in the Gulf Country and far North Queensland for a few months.
Unfortunately I'll be in Queensland for each of the three SOO games BUT I do have my Blues jersey with me and will stick it to those Queenslanders as much as I can, jeez I hope we can finally break the drought.
Another Manly fan I know well through the MWTS and her partner also have a caravan and as it stands we will meet at Kings Canyon and then travel on to Alice Springs, so we will get to see the Knights V Manly game together at a pub in the Alice...should be fun.
I'll post occasionally but not as much as I usually do as I'll be off WiFi and onto a 3G plan, so need to keep as much of that for watching games on Foxtel Go or the NRL Live app.
So cheers everyone, and despite the last few days I reckon we are in for a cracker of a year, if ever there's a reason for another Grand Final appearance we now have it, and just imagine if you will, its the 76th minute, and DCE deftly passes the ball to Gifty to get a try in the final minutes of another glorious Grand Final win........I can almost smell it!!
