Along with signing Gronk, Tabasco and Cordner signing a "massive 5 year deal", apparently signing Frank-Paul Nuuausala from ESL and now this!

If the rorters were put through the same salary cap scrutiny that we have been they would be playing for zero points for the next 10 years.

It's a farking disgrace!

What I don’t understand is that all the rooster fans say oh we have let this player and that player go, but if you release 8 players and use their money to sign 2 players, they still need to have 30 registered players in their squad.. are all rest of them signed on minimum contracts are they

Funny no complaints when we had a stacked team

Really? mentioning gun control in a salary cap debate give yourself a triple.
In the 80’s when there was NO salary cap, so there’s not much to complain about....they were the stacked days.
The biggest signings like BK and Lyon have been few and far between, with most of the success built around home grown players like DCE, Foran and the Stewart’s ect, surrounded by NRL discards like Mark Bryant, Robbo, Wolfman, Uate who have thrived at Manly at budget value.... different story to being linked with every big name player from other NRL sides including other codes like Roosters.

Like I said before, Schubert is doing a great job since he has been with the rorters

Wasn't Shubert the salary cap auditor when the Storm were busted cheating... and he didn't find it, it was reported to him?

No wonder the rorters have hired him: "Nothing illegal going on around here" is his motto.

The roosters must use the old Jedi mind trick when it comes to salary cap auditors ...”these are not the droids you are looking for...”

it started as whispers but they seem to be getting louder....
Roosters now appear to be looking to add SBW to the team after his Super Rugby season is over.
If it happens - Schubert has certainly earned his 3 salaries at the Roosters....hope it’s off mail - but won’t be surprised.
Hey maxta , here is a tip so you can prosper and get a head in life feathered friend ...
Have a great day 😉

Let's not forget that BK was not wanted by Newcastle as they thought he was past it.

Manly were not the only club to have the finances to mainly field top rate sides in the 80"s and even before and after this era . It is just that they were able to get the more success and better results with their player acquisition outlays and recruiting then their main rivals . Their good administration structure and consistently strong financial position also helped of course during these times also .
